an English sonnet about the private lives we all have when the audience isn't watching
lyrics
A land where boys and girls all dress the same
The surface depth betrays the true affair
To peel and scratch façades so far away
Is how to know the moments weight and prayer
And after work she falls onto the couch
Her smiling time is over for the night
The living room can hold the world on out
The bluish tint of tele screens the sky
The restaurant is darkened now tonight
The orders filled and laid to rest for now
The emptiness will lie and wait for light
And life will stir awake someway somehow
Individual is all unsaid and done
A million different unseemly suns
